Thanks for much for letting me know you enjoyed viewing Porter's Cabin. It is my Van Gogh type of painting where the paint itself becomes the texture!

I have many childhood memories of Porter's cabin, our closest neighbor's home down the road. Mrs. Porter made the best oatmeal cookies in the world. I loved spending the night in the upper loft even though I smelled of smoke the next day because of the wood stove/oven used for cooking. One day the new owner burned it down. I was so upset. It was a historical old cabin that could have been moved to a museum for younger generations to see.
